Jesus often used lessons to illustrate the truth of poverty in his listeners' lives.He taught his followers “those who live good lives and follow my teachings will live and be rewarded eternal life in the kingdom of God”. Not everything was all joyful and happy, he taught those who didn’t follow God and committed sins would live a painful life in hell as punishment.Jesus' 6 main teachings included:Forgiveness (forgiving others)Respect (respecting others)Being kind (be kind to others)Seek goodness / the good in peopleBe mercifulJusticeFollowing these teachings, it would grant you a place in God's kingdom, also known as Heaven. But if you didn't follow them you would get an eternal place in hell as punishment.

Easter Sunday is one of the most important days in the Christian calendar, it is because people see Easter Sunday as when Jesus was 'raised to a new life'.Easter Sunday is a Christians 'Sabbath' which is a holy day.Through resurrection, people believe that life triumphed over death, like good over evil. Resurrection is a sign of God's great power. Christians also believe that Jesus is the 'Messiah', also known as the son of God.
