- Good question. I created Suggestopedia in the 70s, in Bulgaria, my native countrie.

- I did it because i wanted to find a way to help students learn faster and without stress. My research showed that traditional learning is very limiting, and I knew that our brains could do so much more.

- Lozanov presses ¨play¨ on the recorder, and soft baroque music begins to play in the classroom. Students automatically begin to relax
- Close your eyes. Now imagine that you are in a place full of peace. The words you will hear will be easily integrated into your memory. Don´t worry about holding everything back, just enjoy the moment.

- The students, with their eyes closed look calmer. In their mind, images of relaxing landscapes are drawn. At the same time, the words in the lenguage they are learning begin to resonate in the background.

- Students mentally walk through a serene forest, while listening to words and phrases that seem to flow to them effortlessly
- Music helps open the doors of the brain. Being in relaxed state, they will absorb knowledge naturally. This is the principle of Suggestopedia: positive suggestion, relaxation and art facilirtate much deeper learning.
