In the event of Gandhi being kicked off the train for a white man to take his first class seat, even though Gandhi paid for his ticket, Gandhi's' brain started to question why he was treated so differently in his own country. In results of this, Gandhi's' aspiration to stand for equal rights in India sparked.
The salt march was a non-violent protest and influenced equality for Indians in their own country. This was notable for Gandhi because he started a tradition of fighting for justice through pure non-violent peace.
After the Salt March, Gandhi was put in prison and Indians did not receive the freedom and equality they asked for, so in turn Gandhi refused to eat until his goal was reached. This recieved abundant attention, and continues to be one of his most remembered acts, and soon Gandhi's goal was reached as people started respecting Indians and their wishes. This was impactful to Indians receiving the treatment theydeserve.
