The youngest son asks for his portion of his fathers money.
Father, may I have my portion of your owning now
Yes son as you wish
Soon after he got his fathers money he went away to another land and there he wasted his money.
Hey there!
He becomes hungry and he decides to go to his father and confess that he has sinned.
I have sinned against heaven I am not worthy to be the son of my father
He goes to his father but his father is not angry but he is happy that his son is home. He is happy as his son was lost but now he has found himself.
It is ok son, you have found yourself and for this we shall celebrate that you are home now
I am sorry father I have sinned against heaven i am not worthy to be your son
They celebrated as the youngest son was now home as he was lost but now he was found.
We shall celebrate because my son was dead but now he is alive
In this story Jesus' purpose was to teach us a message and this message was about love, compassion and forgiveness. In this story the son was lost and he couldn't find himself. He makes mistakes that loose all his father's money until he is broke. He comes back to his father hungry and his father sees him. Though he could be mad at his son, he feels compassion and love for him even though he has sinned. He forgives his son.So from this story we can see the importance of love and compassion and how we should forgive others no matter what they have done.
