- Georg picked up the men’s torch on the ground and tossed it at them. He then sprinted, escaping back to his land. Fire engulfed the men in a matter of seconds. Their screams pierced the everybody’s ears. Luckily, only Ulrich’s arm was slightly burned. Ulrich rolled to the ground, patting out the flames on his arm using the snow, he said with his eyes filled with fury,” You’ll regret for this, Georg. There is no running away next time. Mark my words! ”
- Ulrich attended George’s funeral. The Znayem bloodline has gone extinct, meaning that the court did not know who to compensate for the loss of the Znayem’ land. Ulrich went to the court and convinced them that he should be the one to receive the compensation due to him being a neighbor and that there was a personal relation between both families for three generations. The court did not clearly know of what was going on between the two; seeing that no third party asked for it, they gave it to Ulrich. He rebuilt the land, and enjoyed the money that he owned. He started helping the poor and aiding charity organizations, thus he became a well-known and influential figure. The people loved him and his actions; however, do they know of his past?

- Ulrich’s face paled. “That can’t be true,” he whispered, his mind racing. “Why would by father do such a thing knowing it will affect me later on.” Georg leaned in with a mocking grin, “It’s true, Ulrich. I’ve always known. I let you stay because I wanted you to be considered trespassing. That way, if I killed you or your men, I’d be within my rights.”

- As the wolves stepped closer each second. A nearby torch could be heard burning with sounds of men nearby. “Ulrich! Ulrich beware the wolves; we are coming to save you,” Ulrich’s men shouted. “Quickly, save Georg and I, but take care of the wolves first.” The wolves were slain by Ulrich’s men. As they were getting ready to shoot George out of their instinct, Ulrich instantly yelled, “Halt!”
- Ulrich studied the law well to plan for revenge. He now understood that as long as he doesn’t interlope in Znayem’s land, he can do whatever he wishes. He started gathering a lot of wood from the forest surrounding his estate and started to spread it across his own land, especially in the border with the Znayem’s. As he was doing so, he whispers to himself repeatedly, “This is the only way, sorry father.”
