Hey! I'm Dhira. I was born and raised in Indonesia, where I did my undergrad in management/business. I am passionate about art and enjoyed spending my free time consuming and discovering them (have been enjoying my free Kanopy subscription from Columbia). That being said, I decided early on to not make it my source of living and to still work corporate jobs.
After graduation, I decided to do finance. I got into investment banking and it opened my eyes towards how the world works. By chance, I was assigned to a geothermal energy project and introduced me to the reality regarding Earth's climate challenges.

That was when I decided to deep dive into the climate sector and joined a solar energy startup as the first corporate finance hire. I encountered many challenges from a policy standpoint in Indonesia but ultimately still hopeful that the sector can grow in the near future. This experience inspired me to enroll in SUMA to learn more about the holistic perspective of climate and sustainability - and how to acclimate my finance skills around the topic.
