Good morning kids! For today's class, we will learn how to add and subtract vectors.
Class 3
Great question, thats exactly what we are going to see today
what are scalars and vectors miss?
Hello class, welcome to physics. To introduce this year's topics, you will begin making a presentation based on different measurements and their history. Mass, height, volume, etc. Make sure it's in a timeline format. You can begin!
Class 4
First, if you have been given magnitude and direction, you begin by marking your starting point on your paper and proceed to make a line with the first given angle and make the line as long as your magnitude, which you should divide by 10 when the number is too big. Then do that with every angle but, always start from the end of the previous line. Lastly, connect the end of your last line with the starting point and measure. Go ahead and get started with classwork one.
Class 5
Vectors are physical quantities that have direction and magnitude. (for example velocity:7km/h, 500n, up.) Scalars are those that only have magnitude. (for example 5km, 500N) To calculate the components of a vector without a graph, use the formula: Vx= Vcos0, Vy= Vsin0. When graphing make sure to create a scale for your numbers to make it easier to measure.
Class 6
Hello class today we will work on adding and subtracting vectors using the algebraic method. First take a look at the graph and write down the coordinates of each letter. Then look at the problems and for the equation first take the x of the coordinates given and then separate the y’s from each coordinate as well and do the process the problem indicates with each x and y equation. Then once you get your two answers you wanna get the square root but don't get it
Today we will be learning about dot products. The dot product measures how much two vectors point in the same direction. When given cartesian components, use the formula:A·B= AxBx+AyBy ... When given Polar components use: A·B=|A||B| cos °
Do any of you know how to calculate a dot product?
For this class we will learn the cross product. The cross product measures how much vectors point in different directions. The process for when magnitude and direction are given is:Vector A x Vector B = |A| x |B| Sin θ between a and b direction. And when given components: Vector A x Vector B = Ax By + Ay Bx.
