- What happened to me? Where am I?
- You're at the hospital because you collapsed due to an asthma attack
- What is asthma doctor?
- Ok let me explain Asthma to you.
- An Asthma attack is when you airway swells up and the muscles tense making you body work really hard to get air in and out of the body. This can lead to fainting or worse. Often you can contain it an stop it for getting worse but sometimes you need hospital treatment.
- These are the nasal cavity and the oral cavity. This is where we breath in and out oxygen for our body.
- Asthma can be prevented with certain medications. Medications will vary on how intense the asthma attack is. Ventolin is of of the many drugs that can be used to calm down the muscles in you airway.
- These are the lungs, This is where the air ends up when coming from the trachea and helps the red blood cells receive oxygen.
- This is the Trachea, it brings the air in and out of the mouth and nose to or from the lungs .
