Tom Walker is a man that is not easily scared by spiritual things .Him and his wife don't like eachother (the couples even hid money from each other)
as tom was walking in the forest he comes across a black man dressed in an indian fashion. he was approached by the man to make an deal with him the man told him that he will ofer him piarte kid's treasure and that he will be very rich.
he came across his wife and asks for her choice on what the man made a deal with him and she told him that he should do it so he went with her dessicon . but in the other hand he dosent know that his wife went to the forest herself to make the deal .
he then returns to the forest and finds an apron hanging onto the brach , he tought that his lost silverware was in there but he only found his wifes organs in there he then meets with the man and makes the deal with him.
Tom finds his way to go back to his house to find things riches that he never knew about all his years. Then he realizes that the man who he made the deal with him is gonna evantually take his ooul from him He soon becomes a relgious man. he starts reading the bible and starts going to church more oftrn.
