Welcome to St. Martin School where ALL are welcome. Today we will be learning about the types of assessments: for as and of learning.
You may be wondering what assessment FOR learning is? Well that is where I, Ms.Agostino provide for YOU, the student the necessary tools to succeed. Are you unique? Do you learn in different ways? Of course! I will provide differentiated instruction opportunities for you and provide strategies that will help you learn. I am here to support your needs.
Next, take a seat! Now it's your turn. Assessment AS learning means that, YOU, the student gets to learn, monitor and anaylze your work. Don't forget, I am still here to assist you when you need help.
Class, it's evaluation time and here is the information that I've gathered! Assessment OF learning helps me and your parents to see if you understand what you are learning. If so, we can continue learning new things. If not, let me see if I can help you understand it in a different way.
If you don't understand what you are learning, let's try some differentiated instruction. Let's start by dimming the lights, calming the body, sit comfortable where you feel you will learn best and get ready to learn!
Class, keep in mind that "as for and of" learning are all an important part of assessement and help you to grow, learn and succed in the classroom and prepare you for your future.
