Before I met you, Esther, and had you,Grace. I was previously married andhad a child.
Grace gets home from Tesco and places the shopping in the kitchen. As she does that she hears shouting coming from the living room. The voices are familiar to her.
Grace tiptoes in the living room eavesdropping on her parents arguing, trying to see if her dad will admit to why he has decided to leave them
Kyle realises that Grace is there. Grace sits beside her mum to comfort her as her dad tries to truthfully open up as to why he has left.

Grace is sitting with two of her friends during lunch discussing how their week break went. 
Uni has finished - Grace is on her way home. Her mum calls her to go buy groceries for her to add more time to her journey home. Maybe trying to keep something from Grace.
Kyle shows Grace and Esther a photo of his son and says that is the reason why he is leaving them.
