Hello! I am Draco, I am the current ruler of Athens sense 621 BC. I declare that both rich and poor should be equal under the law. I also believe harsh punishment should be given equally. The punishmentto most crimes will be death. I also have installed debt slavery. After gaining freedom slaves must now repay their debt

I am Solon! Ruler of Athens sense 594 BC. Unlike our previousruler I have outlawed slavery debt. I also declare that no citizen should be able to own another citizen. I have also organized 4 social classes based on wealth. All citizens are also able to press charges against wrongdoers

I am ruler Cleisthenes! I have been ruler of Athens since 500 BC. I broke up the power of Nobility. I organized society into 10 groups based on location. I increased the power of the assembly by allowing citizens to submit laws for debate and passage. And I created something called the council of 500, the members were chosen at random or by lot. The councilwas made to create laws to council the assembly.
All citizens are now more equal and have more power!
Athens was now a limited democracy. Because of this there were less citizens, only adult male owners were now considered citizens. Women, slaves, and foreigners had little rights.
