- iron rod 30 ft away
- At first Phineas Gage was a very nice and talkative man. He was a big people person but, after the incident his personality changed completely and NOT for the better.
- Phineas was working then got distracted then BAM! A 13 pound iron rod went straight through his head and brain. He was bleeding but sat up immediately and started to talk full sentences! He said he was fine but was not.
- He was worked on by a doctor that sewed and taped his head back together he was hallucinating a lot. He was in okay shape and wanted to go back to work but the doctor said not yet. He then carried the iron rod around with him EVERYWHERE!!!!! It did'nt make since but he stayed alive 11 more years then sadly passed on.
