- July was a month of hard work for the annex workers. They had to do their regular jobs along with helping the hiders with the danger of being caught and receiving punishments from the Nazis.
- Miep - I hope the Nazis don't find our hiders...
- Willem - Now, I will see what they are up to when we go on break...
- Bep - Why are they all so lazy...
- Victor - We have worked so hard today. I am incredibly tired from this...
- Johannes - We are almost done, Victor. I cannot wait for a break...

- Each day, the annex workers awaited their well-deserved break time. Most workers were joyful and excited to have a break. However, not all of them planned to relax or help the hiders...
- I hope they don't help those hiders again...This is wrong!
- Finally, we can relax! I needed this break.
- I can't wait to take my mind off work for once!
- I'll go help the hiders with this spare time. I'm sure they must be very hungry by now. Luckily, I picked up food for them.

- Miep Gies brought food to the hiders in the warehouse during her work break.
- However, Willem looked suspiciously at Miep when she opened the secret bookshelf. Clearly, he disliked that Jews were hiding in the annex.
- Otto was delighted by the food and Miep's kindness to spend her break helping the hiders.
- Thank you so much, Miep! Your kindness is keeping us safe right now. Just remember, you guys are doing the right thing.
- Enjoy your Lunch, Otto! Soon, our lives will go back to normal, and you will not have to worry about being caught ever again.
