Hi. My name is Zenia and I am from Kyiv, Ukraine. I am Jew, but I try to hide my identity. I was captured and brought to a Nazi concentration camp. I met Lida and became friends with her. I also lived in really harsh conditions. Lida gave me her cross necklace to help me in my hidden identity. Also she gave a a new dress she earned from her hard work. After I made bombs for Hitler I escaped with some other girls and I never say Lida again.

Hi, I am Lida and I am from Ukraine. I am 9 years old and I am not a Jew. Larissa and I got captured by Nazis and was separated. Then I was put in a terrible concentration camp. I first had to help with Laundry and do a lot of sewing. Then I had to make bombs for Hitler. Lastly, I had make ammunition for Germany. I was not given much food and was put in harsh conditions. American soldiers saved us and I was put in a camps that took care of me in healthy conditions. I about gave up to find my sister, but then my sister found me!
