The Odyssey: Book 24

Achilles and Agamemnon meet each other in the underworld. Neither of them were buried when they had been killed, and now must roam in the underworld forever in agony.
"'Agamemnon, you were the one, we fought, of all our fighting princes Zeus who loves the lightning favored most, all your days, because you commanded such a powerful host of men on the fields of Troy where the Achaeans suffered.'" (24. 25-29).
Achilles and Agamemnon after the war have never spoken to each other since they arrived in the underworld. Hermes is behind them, leading those that have passed in the underworld.
''Son of Peleus, great godlike Achilles! Happy man, you died on the fields of Troy, a world away from home, and the best Trojan and Argive champions died around you, fighting for your corpse." (24. 37-41).
Agamemnon and Achilles, somewhat finding peace in the true hell that they are experiencing, coming to terms with each other
"Great glory is yours Achilles, for all time, in your eyes of all mankind!" (24. 101-02)
