My tribe is caIled the Taino, we live on a tropical, warm island on the Caribbean sea.
I live in very warm weather so this means that we don't usually wear clothes, or when we do, it is like what I'm wearing, not much. We usually lay in hammoks to rest and we bath very frequently because we like to stay clean.
My tribe is really helpful when it comes to food. The men collect corn, nuts, cassaya, flocks, fish, jutin, manati, turtles, shellfish. Everyone is always chipping in.
We live in small clean villages of thach dwellings. We make sure that everyone has a job and a source of food. Everyone in our villages are treated the same, even the people of higher status still have to go fishing and clean and stuff.
We the Taino people are a peaceful tribe, we sometimes had small conflicts with neighboring tribes but we always resolved it peacefully
Our leaders are very well behaved and they, along with everyone else they go fishing and chip in around the community. They are involved in econimic life.
We always take very good care of one another, like if we are sick everyone else will help you.
In my culture, we always respect our animals and our food sources. We bath very frequently so to keep clean and it is nice. And we believe that our ancestors should be respected and remembered
