Storyboard Text
- There once was a fox named john. But John wasn’t like all the other foxes; he was different. His coat was a great colour, a perfect snow-white colour.
- He lived in a small burrowed out rabbit hole that had been abandoned.He lived alone, isolated from everyone else and he didn’t want to see or talk to anyone.He lived in a small opening in the forest surrounded by all these towering trees and flowers as bees buzzed passed. He was happy and content with the life he had in this small green pasture. But he did need food but he refused help from anyone except his family.
- They thought he was ashamed of his white coat and that is why he lived alone, not the fact he just preferred peace. John was the only one in his family who had a luxurious white coat. He knew he wasn’t like all the other foxes and would often voice this to his family but they assured him he was just like all the other foxes out there. But he wanted to be special not just to be any old fox, so he started thinking of ways for him to get any kind of approval from his family but they didn’t know what was wrong or what he wanted to be like.
- oh look its that fox again better leave and quick
- run it's that weird fox if i wake him up or he might eat me
- But his efforts were to no avail; he just couldn’t think of anything. And after his family telling for weeks that he was just like all the other foxes he began to believe them and started hating how he was at the moment he started trying to be like all the other foxes and he started eating less and trying to interact more and he even began to dye his fur an orange that would match all the other foxes but he couldn't fit in because he had no idea how to interact with other people around him.
- His family had changed but at the same time hadn’t pushed him to interact with others. Because of this, he had no friends to talk to about his problems and he had no one to support him except his family which were not much of a help as they were still not even entirely sure why he had made so many changes even after their supposed help.
- why don't you listen even after our help.
- He got so frustrated that no one could help him he ran away eventually coming across his old patch where he used to live with all his old fur when he lived alone he rushed in to see what he would take before running off, but as he stumbled in john looked at all the photos of him as a kid compared to him as a grown-up he saw as when he was a kid he had so many friends but then he got white fur and ran off and just stayed there and never came back.
