- The End
- Fredrick's eagerness to learn how to write drove him to Durgin and Bailey's ship-yard he would write the letters of pieces of timber. He used this and his teachers to finally learn how to read and write.
- Sadly his journey had come to an end when he had to be evaluated, although he still carried with him the knowledge he gathered from this previous adventure
