- finally I'm home
- I walked up to my front door I was so excited to finally be home the house seemed very quite so I knocked on the door thinking no one would answer but the door opened and there was my mom standing right in front of me. "Amal! " she screamed all of my sisters ran over "no way" seema said as they all leaned in for a hug. I was more happy than I had been in month. then I saw Omar standing in the corner he smiled at me then walked away I lowly remembered when my mom had told me we would have to stop spending so much time together I guess he really believed it.

- I sat down next to hasfa in class and her face lit up "Amal oh my amal!" "hi hasfa' I smiled miss Sadia looked up "welcome back Amal." after class that day I stayed to help miss Sadia. she told me how happy she was to see me back I told her I was just as excited but then she told me the rest of the year would be rough for me since I had been gone so long and would have to catch up I guess I had never thought about that was I about to be held back.

- After I got home that day my mom reminded me that I should talk to Omar less and that she told him we wouldn't meet up after school anymore seema ran up to me and showed me a drawling "look Amal' she said it was me holding a pomegranate " I made it when you were gone I amiled at her and said "I'll make sure to hang it in my room. ok?" "yay' she yelled and ran off to play with my other sister I guess some things never change.
