  • Hey you aren't allowed to have those guns I'm going to need to get them
  • Actually according to the second amendment I have the right to bear arms.
  • 3rd Amendment
  • Um no I don't according to the third amendment I don't need to house soldiers!
  • You need to let me stay and sleep here since I'm a soldier!
  • The first amendment gives you the freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition. Which means that the US Constitution prohibits any law limiting freedom with respect to religion, speech, peaceful assembly, and or the right of citizens to petition the government.
  • 4th Amendment
  • We need to search your house right now!
  • Do you have a search warrant?
  • Then you need to get a search warrant until then you can't
  • He's right your honor that's to much of a cruel and unusual punishment for only stealing a soda and a pack of gum.
  • The second amendment gives you the right to bear arms. this means that it protects a citizen's right to possess a firearm not connected to being in the army or army of any sort. And to only use it for lawful purposes such as self-defense within your home.
  • 8th Amendment
  • I sentence you to 10 years in jail and a death penalty.
  • But I only stole a pack of gum and a soda
  • The third amendment is no quartering of soldiers which means that the US Constitution places restrictions on housing soldiers in homes without the owner's consent.
  • 10th Amendment
  • Ok let me get my money.
  • Hello I'm here to collect your yearly tax money.
  • The fourth amendment is freedom from unreasonable seizures and searches. This means that no officer, soldier, or any other government official cannot step foot into your home without a search warrant. However, this does not guarantee against all searches and seizures but it does against those that are deemed reasonable under the law.
  • Um no !?
  • The eighth amendment protects you from excessive bail, and cruel, and unusual punishments. This amendment is important because it promises all citizens are guaranteed their rights, including citizens who have committed crimes and/or are felons.
  • The tenth amendment states that the federal government only has those powers that are specifically granted by the constitution. These powers include the power to declare war, collect taxes, regulate interstate business activities, etc. Any power that is not listed in the constitution belongs to the states and/or the citizens.
