- This book takes place in a small town. Some of the story takes place in school and most of it takes place on a track at a park.
- Castle beat up his school bully because he was making fun of him for only eating cafeteria food because his mom works at the cafeteria. Castle felt embarrassed.
- Castle got suspended and had to run laps at practice while his coach yelled at him. Castle was thinking the whole time how his mom will kill him.
- Castle woke up the next day very sore from running the day before. He could barely walk and he said he felt like his body was filled with dynamite.
- When Castle went to school the next day and everyone called him a hero and said he was cool. Castle felt popular for once and he took it all in.
