- I love you Mumtaz Mahal, you are my beloved wife, and I would do anything for you!
- Oh my beloved husband! I love you to Shah Jahan!
- No! My Beloved Mumtaz! Please do not leave me! I will never forget you! I will never love anyone as much as I have loved you!
- To honor my beloved Mahal, I shall build a palace after here made of the most beautiful marble to resemble her beauty, I will name it the Taj Mahal, and shall have my once beloved wife rest here.
- My Emperor! The construction of the Taj Mahal has been costing us more than we make from our taxes, I am not sure if it is within our best financial interests to continue the palace.
