- Plato: I'd like to say that every single individual has their own perception of life based on their own experiences.
- Aristotle: I agree, but I feel like there is room for expansion here.
- It would be beneficial to base our ideas off of specific observations. We can study motivation and perception.
- Wilhelm Wundt (Father of Psychology): Despite my attempts, my approach was unsuccessful. Humans do not respond the same as chemical elements in a lab.
- The Birth of Psychology: Today, we will conduct the first psychological study on humans in a laboratory. We will use a process called introspection, even though the results are purely subjective.
- Edward Titchener: Using my resources in the US, I think I can bring this idea to life. All that needs to happen is understanding the human puzzle . We can refer to it as Structuralism.
- Charles Darwin: I think all things physically and psychological are done for the purpose of survival. The needed characteristics to survive are passed on through parents.
- Functionalism
- William James: While I think your theory is great on its own, I'd like to examine the function of consciousness and view it as one big picture.
