- Yay! Can you tell us more about it?
- That's easy kids!Did you know that there are 3 Distinct types of Messages? These are primary, secondary and auxiliary messages.
- Sure! So, when you write or say something, you are expressing not simply the meanings  of the words you pick, but also something about yourself and your relationship to the intended audience.
- Primary Message refers to both verbal and nonverbal material that is intended. These are the words or methods that you use to express yourself and convey your message.
- What about the secondary message?
- That's right!
- Oh! is that what we did earlier? We greeted you Good morning, so it is an example of primary message
- the secondary message refers to both verbal and nonverbal material that is unintended. Your audience will generate unfavorable and positive impressions of your purposeful messages over which you have no control. Physical attractiveness, age, gender, and ethnicity, as well as simple mannerisms and speaking patterns, can all unintentionally influence the message
- so secondary message is like what happened earlier, I was about to sit on the school bus but there was a girl  looking for a seat so, I decided to offer mine through hand gesture indicating that the chair is empty and available but she rejected my offer and rolled her eyes at me.

- Ok Lastly, Is the auxiliary message refers to the deliberate and unintended ways in which a key message is conveyed. This could include vocal intonation, gestures, and posture, as well as the rate at which you speak, all of which can affect how your message is interpreted or perceived.
