You will just know! Most of the people I save in a day are older. B-12 deficiency is very common in older people. It's because of the high prevalence of atrophic gastritis-associated food-cobalamin (vitamin B12) malabsorption, and the increasing prevalence of pernicious anaemia with advancing age. My favorite way to help them is to give them methylcobalamin form of B-12 because it's easier to absorb into the stomach for older people.
