- THE BURNING BUSH
- (astonished) What is that? A bush that's burning but not consumed by the flames!
- GOD: MOSES, MOSES!
- Moses: Here I am.
- Voice of God: Do not come any closer. Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground. I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people out of Egypt.
- Who am I to go to the Pharah and bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
- GOD: I am with you.

- THE TEN PLAGUES
- Narrator:Moses returned to Egypt with his brother Aaron.
- Moses: (to Pharaoh) Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
- Pharaoh: (defiant) Who is the Lord, that I should obey him? I do not know the Lord, and I will not let Israel go.
- Narrator: God sent ten plagues upon Egypt to convince Pharaoh to release the Israelites.

- Narrator: The Israelites left Egypt, but Pharaoh changed his mind and pursued them with his army.Israelite 1: (frightened) Moses, the Egyptians are coming!Moses: Do not be afraid. Stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.Narrator: Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the waters parted, creating a path of dry land.Israelite 2: (amazed) Look! The sea is divided!Narrator: The Israelites crossed the Red Sea safely, but when the Egyptians tried to follow, the waters returned and engulfed them.Israelite 3: (joyful) We are free! The Lord has delivered us from the hand of the Egyptians!Moses: (lifting his hands) Sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea.
