- Scene: Canadian wilderness in the middle of the night. Conflict: Person VRS nature.Why?: Brian is in his shelter when he wakes up to an odd noise. It sounds sort of like a snake to him but then it smacks him and quills get stuck in his leg, that is how he realizes that it is not a snake it is a porcupine )which is an animal so nature). During that time when the porcupine was in his shelter he threw his hatchet and it hit the wall of his shelter creating sparks!
- What's that noise?! Is it a snake!!! Ouch! It's a porcupine!!
- AAAA! What's that giant thing throwing stuff at me! I'm just gonna quill it and run!!!

- Oooh, nice camp! Let's destroy it!!!
- Setting: Canadian wilderness at night during a storm
- Conflict type: Person VRS nature.Why?: Brian is asleep when he hears an odd noise and he realizes it is a tornado ( a kind of storm that makes a wind funnel that is part of nature! He hides in his camp and is miraculously unharmed while his camp is completely destroyed.
- NOOOOOO! It's a tornado! I need to stay in my shelter I hope it can stand this!!

- Conflict: person VRS selfWhy?: Brian is having a conflict with himself about wether or not to tell his dad about his mom and the blond guy.
- Setting: Brian's house
- Setting: Mall
- Is that my mom in that car with some blond guy!
- I wonder if I should tell him about mom and that blond guy.
- Uhh, I should not be doing this! I'm married for with a kid!
- I wonder why Brian looks so concerned? Uhh, the kid gets me worried.
