- Most members takes the car to our facility. This cannot be good for the environment. I should ask for help to get a better understanding of the situation, my members and maybe try to nudge them into taking the bike here instead.
- Create a challenge
- Student applies. Meet,evaluate, accept and answer questions.
- Hi! Nice to hear that you want to work with it. Well, you can come by tomorrow after kl10 for a meeting.
- Hi! I saw your project on the website and was wondering a little bit about it. Could i come by and talk with you in more detail before i start working with it?
- Find a problem or an opportunity. It is necessary to be aware of the possibility to create a task on the website "The green Journey".
- (2 weeks later. Project deadline) Students contribution
- Create a challenge on the website "The Green Journey" by describing the problem/opportunity as detailed as possible and answer all necessary questions in the form.
- (1 week after deadline, starts seeing results)Opportunity partly seized!
- A students reaches out and applies for the project. Important to thoroughly talk about the situation and what both parties expect from this project.
- Share the summary and lessons learned from the project.
- The student has gathered intel by surveys and talking with the members also talked with different companies nearby for different solutions. Landed on the idea to borrowing bikes from a bike store for a fee in combination with another company.
- Borrow electric bike
- Remember to fully evaluate and give the solution an honest chance to prove its worth. Things can need some time to adjust before you can see the bigger results.
- Members start cycling more often. Not everyone has the possibility due to the length to work but this helped a lot.
- By sharing lessons learned other companies with similar problems can implement or test similar ideas. It can also inspire new ideas or thoughts of improvements.
