- I chose this because I had to try new tools during this course even though I wanted to keep using what I was used to. I learned a lot of new tools that I think my students can benefit from.
- My Epiphany of learning is that you can try new technology tools to go out of your comfort zone and help students learn.
- I effectively use technology to assess students, engage students, to stay organized. I use google forms for frequent check ins and self reflections. I use a lot of google docs, slides, for students to learn material with internet resources. I have students create things to show what they have learned. I use kahoot, quizizz, and quizlet live to engage students. I incorporate a lot of resources when teaching. I think technology is a part of our world and we need to make sure students can use it appropriately to enhance their learning. However, there is always a need to find a good balance. There is still a lot of new tools I can try to incorporate.
- Teachers are committed to students and their learning.I establish relationships with my students and get to know them to help them be successful. So I can give students choices and implement the new technology based on my students needs.
- Teachers know the subject they teach and how to teach it to their students. I have a lot of tools and resources for my content but now can incorporate new tools. I already do a lot of the things I learned this semester but can now add some new tech tools to assess, engage, and have students show what they are learning.
