The internet holds a world of endless possibilities. I was introduced to the internet at an early age and that was when digital writing became a part of my life. The biggest impact online writing had on my life was through connecting me with my family members across the globe

At the age of 10, my cousin Mia moved across the world to Ukraine. I was sad that my best friend and I would not get to spend time together anymore,

but through the use of the internet, we were able to maintain a close friendship and bond transcending distance. Through this experience, I learned aspects of my online identity that I wouldn't have realized before.

After Mia moved to Ukraine, I felt an ache in my heart. I wanted to talk to her every day, but the distance and the time difference proved to be a massive barrier to our relationship. I was afraid that our friendship would be over.
hat is when we decided to send each other emails. This is when we stumbled on the potential of online writing.
Writing emails was the easiest way for us to communicate because we both had computers and we would schedule times to email each other.
