King Arthur had a dream where his dead nephew, Sir Gawain, told him not to fight against Sir Mordred or they would both die.
Then Sir Gawain and all the ladies vanished. And anon the Kingcalled upon his knights, squires, and yeomen, and charged themwightly7 to fetch his noble lords and wise bishops unto him. Andwhen they were come the King told them of his avision,8 that SirGawain had told him and warned him that, and he fought on themorn, he should be slain.
Snakes were coming in to burn and kill all the people of the kingdom. Then, Arthur and his knights began to fight them, but unfortunately, snakes scarred them to kill them in the end.
Sir Mordred gets hit by King Arthur and his sword underneath his shield. Sir Mordred knew that he would die from that hit, so he struck King Arthur, who was also killed.
King Arthur makes Sir Bedivere throw his sword into the lake. He also made him tell him what he saw, but he actually didn't throw it in until later.
Sir Bedivere went to the chapel after he left King Arthur's body. While he was at the chapel he saw a hermit. He told sir Bedivere that a lot of women came to ask to bury a corpse.
