- Sir Arthur, along with Sir Lucan and Sir Bedivere, approach Sir Mordred and propose they draw a treaty.

- Everything is going well, until an adder comes along! It stings one of the knights, who draws his sword to kill it, and thus a battle is accidentally started!

- Sir Mordred dies and Arthur is severely wounded. Sir Lucan and Sir Bedivere attempt to move him, but Sir Lucan succumbs to his own injuries and dies.

- Sir Bedivere is asked by Arthur to throw his sword into the lake, but fakes it twice before he actually does it. When he finally throws it in, it is caught by the Lady of the Lake.
- King Arthur goes to the Island of Avalon accompanied by three ladies. It is said that he will return when he is most needed.
