Ponyboy is 14. He lives with his two brothers Soda and Darry since his parents died in a car crash. He is a smart student and he is in the A-squad#160; track team. Is a greaser.
Rescued
Johnny is 16. His parent are alive but don't treat him well so usually he sleeps on the streets. Johnny is like a puppy. He is the gangs 'kid brother'. Is a greaser.
It's rumble time!
Dally is 17. He is blond, he has shifty eyes, goes to jail a lot, and the world made him so tough he has never cried. His old man doesn't care about him. Is a greaser.
Goodbye
When Dally went back to the church with Pony and Johnny the church was on fire. Pony and Johnny got out to talk to the man by the church. he said that the church was worthless anyways. But then they heard kids calling for help and Pony and Johnny go in to save them.
Pony, Darry, Soda, Steve, and Two-bits came to the rumble with Tim Shepard's gang and the Brumly gang went to a lot and had a rumble with the socs. Before the match starts Dally comes and joins in. The greasers win the fight.
After the rumble Pony and Dally go and visit Johnny because he isn't doing well. Dally and Pony talk to Johnny about how they won the rumble and Dally says he was proud of Johnny. Johnny told Pony to stay gold and then he passed away.
