- I swear to make Abigail suffer and free my sweet Elizabeth. I must make things right and come to terms with what I have done to hurt my love :(

- Act 1/2 Pieces of Evidence:"Abby, I may think of you softly from time to time. But I will cut off my hand before I’ll ever reach for you again. Wipe it out of mind. We never touched, Abby.""I have gone tiptoe in this house all seven month since she is gone. I have not moved from there to there without I think to please you, and still an everlasting funeral marches round your heart. I cannot speak but I am doubted, every moment judged for lies, as though I come into a court when I come into this house!"Act 2/3 Pieces of Evidence:"I will curse her hotter than the oldest cinder in hell. But pray, begrudge me not my anger!"The Whole of Act 3 is evidence itself because he is working almost that entire chapter to defend Elizabeth and other people he is close to and loves.
