There were many things in the Quartering some were; The British government left thousands of soldiers in the colonies after the French and Indian war. Another one is the British were afraid that the Native Americans or Spanish settlers in flordia might attack the colonies and one more is... As a result in 1776, a new law called the quartering act passed the British Parliament.

After fighting the French and Indian war. Britain needed money to pay there debts also some of the colinest protested and scared of tax collectors and some even attacked them in there homes.
The Intorable Act
In 1770 the colinest were still angry that Britain soldiers were living in there houses. Not getting along with the colinest made the soldiers jobs a lot harder. The colinest showed hatred by calling the there red coats lobster backs.
After the Boston Massacre, The British government rappelled all the unpopular taxes. After many gallons of tea was thrown in the water the tea was lowered in cost but the colinest still thought it was unfair. Once again the colinest portested.
Tax collectors were tared and feathered they were also tea forced down there throats. One law the Boston Port Act was ,closed Boston Harbor the colinest thought they would starve.
