- The British arrive to Long Island and settle before the battle.
- The British made a suprise atttack on the patriots and they were out numbered.
- Washington ordered the troop to retreat back to Brooklyn Heights.
- Retreat!!!!
- Four hundred men in the American troops got captured.
- British got an order to stay back and hold the attack.
- We're going to stay here for the night.
- During the night the Americans left Long Island by the east river and when the British woke up they were gone.
