The first thing I learned is that  Part C of IDEA provides financial assistance to states for the purpose of providing  services to infants and toddler (age birth through 2) with disabilities. 
The second thing I learned is that the term convergence (in the 6 standards) refers to whether an assessment relies on more than one source of information.

I learned that, unlike CSE meetings, if the parents/guardians/child advocates are unable to attend the scheduled IFSP meeting, the team does not meet.

The First Thing I Learned 
The fourth thing that I learned is when interviewing a child within the home setting, it would be important to take extra items, like toys or coloring books, that you plan on giving the child, as they may have siblings. 
The Second Thing I Learned
The fifth thing I learned is that IFSP stands for Individualized Family Service Plan, and documents and guides the early intervention process. 
The Third Thing I Learned
The sixth thing I learned would be that I learned that the AAP recommends something called a "medical home" for children with disabilities where regular and specialized medical services are family-centered and well-coordinated with other early intervention services.
