Russian economy was collapsing very fast, due to the World War 1. As millions of soldiers had died in the war , and people who at home is starving becauseof inflation, and resources are prioritized going to the military. The harsh winter between the 1916,1917 made living conditions more bad and terrible, which makes people angry and outraged.

On February 23, 1917, women workers in Petrograd goes on strike , they are demanding for breads with more wages, and to end to the war. As they protest , factory workers and students joined them which then turned it into a huge protest. Soldiers are deciding to join or not, leading to the fall of Tsar Nicholas.

By the late February 1917, protests in Petrograd had become huge. Tsar Nicholas started to let the military to stop the crowds and some soldiers fired on protesters which kills dozens of people. However, many soldiers were facing dificulties in choosing to follow the crowd or not. Some soliders even turned against to shoot their officers. By February 26-27 Tsar has no more military support, which then marked the fall of monarchy
