We were sent here on behalf of the people. You will stop your unfair ruling and sign off on this document right now, The Magna Carta!!!!! Or else you shall be executed!!
Although i shall not put my seal on my unjust ruling. hahahahaha
The nobles of medieval England decided they would stand up to king John and make him sign the Magna Carta on June 15th 1215.

A change so powerful has never been seen before. What shall I do? Those malicious Barons!! How can a document withhold the power to limit mine?
Oh how could they force me to be UNDER the law, for I am the king, destined by God who shall be the only one above law!!!!!!
The king is shocked and is now under the rule of law by a signed document which has never been done before.

Before we settle onto this land we shall establish ruling. No king should ever be above the law. If there is any ruling to be set in place, majority vote shall rule. Everyone who settles on this land will be given the right to a fair trial as well as a fast trial by jury
Now lets get this show on the road!!!!!
As the English people made the new land home, they decided to keep their thought process and enforce it upon the new land. This included majority rule, the right to due process of law, a speedy trial by jury, etc.
