"Go now!" Genghis sent a mission to establish trade relations with the Turks. He then sent a diplomat to the Khwarazim ruler, and then he demanded that the offending governor be sent to him as a prisoner. This gave him the excuse he needed in order to invade the Khwarazim Empire.
He then led a force of 200,000 men against the Khwarazim cities.

Genghis Khan died in 1227, he divided his empire among his sons and his grandson. His favorite son, Ogedei, was given China and the rest of eastern Asia. Chagatai took over Central Asia, while Genghi's grandson Batu controlled the western part of the empire. Sometimes Genghi's sons and grandsons would fight each other for control, but the empire continued to expand. The Mongols ruled from the Pacific Ocean to the Black and Mediterranean seas, the laws that Genghis Khan had made for the tribes of the steppe were spread out from Vietnam, HUngary, and from Korea to Iraq.

The women took more rights in the Mongol Empire because Mongol men were all mobilized for war, women took on many economic roles. The Mongols did not force any such changes on their subjects, they respected local customs and languages, they also granted freedom of religion to all.
