In act 2 scene 3 through 6 of romeo and juliet ,Romeo comes to friar lawrence to get married with juliet and friar lawrence is suprised they ask this and he doesn't think it is wise for them to get married but he thinks about it and he only agrees to get them married because he thinks it will heal the relationship between the capulets and the montugues.
what is happening is that romeo came to friar lawrence and ask him to put romeo and juliet in marriage but he says no.Romeo than pleads with him and he finally agrees because he thinks it will mend the relationship with the two families.
My theme is even though living one's truth privately can be helpful for the moment but it also can mean that it will hurt people in the end.This demostrates my theme because friar lawrence knows that they shouldn't get married but he decided to get them married anyway.
