Impressment is where British ships would come across American trading ships. It was either in the sea or on a British trading dock.
The Embargo Act is being released because of british actions.
The British soldiers would board the ship. They would capture the Americans and ties them up.
What does this act do to help?
This act will stop all our trade with Britain.
The soldiers would bring them onto their boat. They would force the Americans to work in their British Navy.

The U.S. didn't like what the British was doing. It was unfair so in response the U.S. released the Embargo Act.
This act stopped trade with the British. The U.S. closed off their ports to the British trading ships and stopped sending things to Britian.
There were certain people who didn't like the decisions made. They were called War Hawks. They were politicians who wanted to steer the U.S. towards war with British.
