So basically since I make more than people with 50,000 and less I gotta pay more? thats crazy why can't the tax percentage be the same everytime

Sure! proportional tax is a tax that stays the same no matter your income, if you have 50,000 and you have you pay 10% of that it won't change no matter if your income decreases or increases.
Yea and about that same percentage tax you mentioned, that's what they call proportional tax.
All these different types of taxes is making my head hurt but great information
