It was also full of a large amount of riches and inflicted unimaginable suffering on the Black people. Now, we should be prepared to hide what happened in the past with its negative memories and look forward to the future. The only thing we ask from the previous colonial powers is their cooperation and goodwill to remedy injustices, mistakes in the past and give African colonies freedom. Now is the time to act and tomorrow might be too late and the opportunity will have passed, as well as the hope Africa being free.
