Sometime after exploring, the Europeans met the First Nations. The Europeans and First Nations spoke two different languages so they could not understand each other. Eventually, after spending some time with the other group, some people began speaking the other group's language. These people became translators.

The First Nations hunt or fish for their food but the Europeans raised animals and later slaughtered them.The two groups became interested in some of the other groups things and decided to trade for them. They started trading a lot near Hudson Bay and afterward they established a business and named it the Hudson Bay company.
This business became very successful over the years.They traded things like fur from the First Nations for money. Then the Europeans
