Zeus forced Callisto to have a son together, but Zeus knew he wasn't supposed to have a child with her since she vowed to remain abstinent.
Callisto was in trouble because she broke her vow and was transformed into a bear in a forest where she was killed. Some variations say that she was killed by her own son, others explain that she was killed by a god named Artemis.
Zeus watched this happen and transformed Callisto into a constellation known as Major Ursa.
