This man in looking for the prayer room inside a Mosque. The Mosque was a place of worship where worshipers would sit on mats to pray towards Mecca. The Mosque's design reflected on the diversity of the Muslim lands.
Art and Music
Finally almost done!
The man on the left is studying geography and examining the plants in this area. Geography was a very important study to Muslim scholars. The man on the right is confused by what the man is doing over here. The man on the right is aware of the time and place because of an astrolabe which was used heavily by sailors to locate where they were.
Scholarship and Learning
Blah Blah Blah
This man on the left is experiencing a medieval doctor appointment. Unlike modern day, herbs and other ointments were used to"heal" the patient. The man won't have to get a shot,  but hopefullyhe won't have to get blood-let, which was a way to get rid of sicknesses back then.
Recreation
Checkmate!
The man in this scene is painting a picture. Art was a great hobby and job for middle class people in medieval times. One of the many things sculptors did was put natural designs in their church walls to reflect on the diversity of the Muslim lands.
The man shown above has fallen asleep during his schooling lesson. This is not very realistic though, because learning was greatly valued in the Islamic culture. the Arabic language became the main language of scholarship throughout Islamic lands. Muslim rulers also built libraries, schools, and colleges to promote learning as much as possible.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
The two men above are playing chess. Chess along with a few other games were past times made popular by Muslims. Chess was widely enjoyed because of the way it intellectually challenged both players. In chess you move an army of pieces based off complex rules, one of which is a king. The goal is to checkmate, meaning guarantee to be able to get the king. Games like these grew popular and stayed as time went by.
