- my name is Pineda and i was sent out to Jamaica to map out the coast of mexico, after that i became the first European to see the Texas gulf. but the =n my mission had to get stopped because my men got arrested.
- Coronado-1540
- my name is Coronado and in 2540 i went searching for the golden city with 999 other men! discovered what we call the grand canyon,the pacific ocean, and the palo duro canyon. but when we came back we had no gold :( so all of the men and others lost interest in Texas.
- Cabeza De vaca-1527
- in 1526 i started to explore Florida but had to be sent back. then when i got sent on my way again my ship wrecked at this place called Galveston i think. then i ran into these nice people who lived in huts, they helped me survive. but i could always notice these golden looking houses in the background so i wonders is they could really be gold. when i arrived back i told lots of people about the city of gold i saw

- hello my name is Michelle Navarrete and heres my story. one day 10 years ago my husband received a very fancy looking letter, it said that he would have to go to a trip to new mexico to hunt for gold. me and the kids were deeply sorrowed because he would have to be gone for a longtime and our income would shorten. so we decided to move some were else and escape the government.its been years and now we live in Texas, we still haven't received a follow up letter to out escape.

- my name is la salle, and heres my story. i persuaded the king of france to make an colony there. i went out to sea with 4 full ships of food, supplies and men. sadly i lost a ship to pirates, then i finally arrived at my stop but it was NOT the river i wanted it was the matagorda bay instead. after that i lost another ship to a sandbar located at the bay. then i found a tribe and tried to be friends did not want to be Friends. then i went to mexico and was attacked by a tribe. then 2 years later i was killed by my own men :(
