Question:How have different groups' journeys to Australia over the 20th/21st century impacted the identity of Australia as a country?I think all journeys to Australia have slightly impacted Australia and our heritage and culture. You see it when the Vietnamese boat people came. They slowly made their cooking famous here. As well as this, the British people and their culture have made it into our ways of life as well, and we share the same queen. Different groups impacted Australia because all the people from different regions brought their different ways of living as well. Now, people use those ways of living and enjoy hearing and doing things from other cultures.Australia is also known for being one of the most multicultural places on the planet.
Question:How have these journeys impacted the identity of different cultural groups?This is a tough question, as they are emigrating from there. They aren't really doing anything to that culture. However, different cultures help Australia out sometimes, remembering the service or tribute Australia paid them once, and as such Australia has many cultural allies around the Earth as we housed their refugees
